Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - DUMB
I find it offensive when bad writing makes it's way to the screen (all the time it seems). Here, we have that in spades. I'm not going to waste my time detailing it all, but here's an example. I don't know how many times one of the bad guys says "mother******", but it's a classic example of some idiot putting in words he/she has probably never heard in the real world (but imagines that it's all anyone says in the ghetto)... the characters black... must be from the ghetto... so that's all the character says. Over and over and over again! I'm white and I find it ignorant and insulting. Why don't you just have him ask for chicken and watermelon!! Ridiculous!

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Better than expected
Like its predecessor, it has many flaws. But it has something its predecessor did'nt count on: a fairly realistic crocodile. Unlike Flatdog (name of the croc from the very first movie)this croc (called "El Lagarto Diablo" in this movie which means the devil gator which is inaccurate but forgivable since it was named by natives) looks more realistic and doesn't swim in reverse like a vehicle or does other very unrealistic things. The plot, well, typical of a direct-to-video film but delivers at what it does.

Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - Oh Please!
Was it really neccessary to throw in the topless shots of the girls?
I'm watching this hokey movie about a giant lizard which was mildly entertaining and in the middle of nowhere here are these topless girls frolicking in the water. ?????
Can someone tell me why?
This movie went in the trash with the other garbage..........

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Good movie.
This was a fairly good thriller movie. Though that crocodile was pretty scary. A little too scary and quite huge as well. I saw this on tv and was pleased with it so I decided to buy it. Though I still liked Lake Placid more because it had some humor. This one just had a bit too much killing but overall was still enjoyable movie.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Not quite as good as its predescessor
I've seen too many movies to be able to show the range of quality difference with only five ratings, so in short - I consider this to be a "low four star rating", while I consider the previous "Crocodile" to be a "high four-star rating".

In other words, while I give both of them four stars, this isn't exactly up to the standards of the first.

The very first 'Crocodile' was kind of a slasher with a crocodile instead of a serial killer. This was more of a generic 'animal attack movie'. This is good for an animal attack movie, but, the most well-known animal attack movie is probably 'jaws', and since watching 'Jaws' is a bigger waste of time that consuming monkey droppings, I guess I can't expect the standards of the 'competition' for this movie to be too high.
