Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - This series has great potential.....
Let's hope they don't mess it up.The pilot was fantastic, but the writers strike affected how many episodes we saw........

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - T:SCC
I have been enjoying Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicals on Fox immensely. It is well written with several developing sub-plots and character development, especially between Cameron and John. The acting is superb and Summer Glau's (Cameron) one-liners are almost as good as her character, River, in Firefly and Serenity.
The effects and stunts are great and Summer does many of her own stunts. The directing and producing by Josh Friedman are great. Buy and watch the pilot, episode 1 and you will want to watch the entire very first season (9 episodes).

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome show.
I loved it! Actors did a great job and the writing & plot is good. What else is there to say? Oh, Summer Glau is hot. :)

I really hope Season 2 will be out soon.

Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - Bad
Absolutely terrible, the acting is just terrible.... I couldnt stand to watch much more than five minutes of it before I had to hit the little "X" in the top right corner.... And people wonder why I got rid of my TV... The quality of the entertainment in this country has gone straight down the toilet.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Terminator SSC season one, special review
I decided for this review I'm gonna review each episode individually.

Episode 1.1 - Pilot

As I am attempting to keep this review short, I will cut to the chase: It was weak, it felt a little cheap, the acting was only OKAY, it felt basically like a compressed Terminator film, almost as if it's only reason for being was to set the stage for things to come. As necessary as this "setting the stage" may have been, I felt it could have been a bit less predictable. In the end, it's enjoyable, but will never be celebrated for any sort of film-making prowess.

Episode 1.2 - Gnothi Seauton

Though the pilot may have been weak, this second episode reevaluates the series own purpose and feel. While not being a particularly notable as a 'must see' it is entertaining and worth giving a chance.

Episode 1.3 - The Turk

This is what I've been waiting for! The break through episode showing what this series is truly made of. This new episode expresses the emotional depth of the characters, and examines their thoughts and personalities. It is also the most disturbing episode of the entire season, the episode ending in grisly death. This is where the series really kicked itself off, give it a watch, you might enjoy it.

Episode 1.4 - Heavy Metal

This episode is unfortunately one of the few letdown episodes of the series. Thugh the episode itself was well written and acted, it barely had any place in the overall story, making it irrelevant. The episode feels more like an excuse to by time while the story rearranges itself, including one or two sequences that are important in future episodes, mostly focusing around the Terminator itself. Though it felt like a bit of a waste of time, let your faith in the show not waver, and watch the subsequent episode.

Episode 1.5 - Queen's Gambit

After a bit of disappointment, the series brings itself back to the style and thoughtfullness of the third episode, analysing its characters (Cameron particularly) and introducing a new character, who is not just a plot twist for the show, but a twist for the entire Terminator storyline. This episode is probably one of the best of season one, viewers will not be disappointed.

Episode 1.6 - Dungeons and Dragons

This episode has an interesting theme to it, fifty percent of the episode is "flashbacks from the future". These sequences give you more insight into life during the future war than the movie gave you, showing the general living spaces and lifestyles of the soldiers. Thugh the rest of the episode is not particularly exciting, it does bring out some of the characters emotions, thus furthering the story.

Episode 1.7 - The Demon Hand

Though the previous episodes of SCC may have been about fighting and things like that, this episode is both a turning point for one the characters, and also a theological examination of Christianity.Sowing how it can be used in times of trouble and self doubt or be twited and misinterpreted as it so often has been throughout the ages. The episode also has a somewhat brutal tone to it, as much of it focuses on Agent Ellison being held in bondage by the psychotic Dr. Silberman (who many may remember from the three Terminator films). Throughout the episode Ellison undergoes some terrible instances of physical abuse, such as getting drugged, being poisoned, getting stabbed in the leg and finally, being left to die in a burning building. This by far is one of the more intense episodes in the series, and viewers may find it to be the most engaging.

Episodes 1.8 & 1.9 - Vick's Chip & What he Beheld

Fans will not be disappointed by this skillfully crafted, heart-pumping finale to 'Terminator'. The two episodes that the finale is comprised of have a darker tone, as they explore deeper into the social capabilities of a Terminator, which many people may find disturbing (ye been warned). Some fans of the series will find it frustrating that the ending just seems to drop off, this is because three of the episodes were cut from the very first season (to be used in the possible second season). I personally think that they chose a great place to end the season at, and I'm in eager anticipation of the second season.
