unlike dumbells, I feel that you get a greater workout with the kettlebells, they are easy to use and can be used in a varity of ways to maximize your workout.

Not much more you can say than that! The wide handle helps a good bit, but it also makes it harder to control in some moves. I purchased the 35lb and the 15lb so that my lady and I could workout together. Build quality is very good, no visible seams in the metal - it looks cast.
I highly recommend (links below) Pavel Tsatsouline's 'Enter the Kettlebell' or 'The Russian Kettlebell Challenge' book and/or video to get started. He is more descriptive of how you should or shouldn't work with kettlebells and the information he provides could very well save you some serious pain. Besides that, he is the prime figure in bringing kettlebells back into popularity in the USA and as such, deserves your cash =)
