Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Hell With the Ladies
As far as books go, this is purely a beach read. I think I devoured it in a day knowing only Julie Kenner as an author. Honestly as far as her works go it wasn't her best but it was entertaining. Out of all of the stories, Dee Davis' was the most suspenseful. It's not a bad book to buy but as I said it's nothing more than a beach read. Light and fluffy only dark because the subject matter deals with Satan and soul stealing.

Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - COULD HAVE BEEN A WHOLE LOT BETTER
This title sounds good but the stories do not live up to it. All three are very similiar and except for the fact that all the guys are great looking weasels, who would like a son of satan? They have all lived for hundreds of yrs, but we are to believe that one woman can change each of their souls.

I would think that after being irristable to women all those years that they would be quite sated with the physical aspects of living, so I was looking for something abit more spiritual to reach them. But in every story it was sex that set them free of evil.

Each story was so much alike it was a chore to read. don't waste your time or money.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - unique twist on the bad boy theme....
Lucifer is ready to retire. But which one of his three sons is worthy to take over Hell? Lucifer gives each son a task with sucess ensuring control of the fiendish empire.

"Jack" by Kathleen O'Reilly revolves around Lucifer's oldest son, Jack Vassonovich, and his quest to purchase the Book of Souls. The lovely Gabriella D'Angelis wants to escape the dreary life of a bookstore owner. Will Jack complete his task or will he learn to love Gabriella instead?

Kathleen O'Reilly's ability to show any redeemable value in cold-hearted bad boy Jack Vassonovich is incredible. Jack is more used to the boardroom than the bookstore whereas Gabriella knows that the heart is more important than any dollar amount. The resulting clash is both sizzling and heart-warming.

"Nick" by Julie Kenner is the story of Lucifer's second son, Nicholas Velnias. Nick is a famous painter but each of his paintings captures a piece of the soul of the model. His task: to capture the entire soul of Delilah Burnett. Will Delilah's innate goodness overcome Nick's desire to please his father?

Julie Kenner is an extremely talented author with a gift at creating poignant moments out of some very unusual circumstances. Her characterizations of Delilah and Nick are captivating and very vivid as one can easily apply their circumstances to other real-life situations. Julie Kenner maintains the heat level as "Nick" is a very sensual story.

Dee Davis concludes this collection with "Marcus", the story of Lucifer's youngest son, Marcus Diablo. Marcus is assigned the task of obtaining an infamous ruby called the Devil's Delight. He'll have to work with old flame, Celeste Abbot, to locate the ruby. But what choice will he make if the Devil's Delight is located?

"Marcus" is an Indiana Jones style escapade that will delight those who enjoy the combination of steamy romance and high octane action. Dee Davis produces an excellent modern day historical mystery. The twists and turns will definitely keep readers on their toes!

HELL WITH THE LADIES is an unusual anthology in that all three stories are intertwined nicely into a much larger story. Each author contributes a piece of the story and the overall themes are well-managed. Lucifer, while more of a sympathetic figure than one might expect, still maintains his evil status by assigning each son a task to obtain an object that can be used for great evil. Kathleen O'Reilly, Julie Kenner, and Dee Davis are to be commended for the superb collaborative effort it took to have such a consistent and smoothly flowing anthology. HELL WITH THE LADIES is definitely worth reading as it provides a unique twist on the ultimate bad boy theme- the sons of Lucifer!

Deciding it is time to retire so he can take a vacation, Lucifer lines up a test for each of his three sons to see which one can manage Hell best. Kathleen O'Reilly's story, Jack, tells of the very first test as the millenium old casino owner is assigned to seduce the Book of Souls away from Gabriella D'Angelo. However, his failure means that middle son, Nick, will get his shot to steal the soul of a preacher's daughter, if she does not steal his heart very first in Julie Kenner's entry. Finally, the youngest son, thief extraordinare, Marcus, must find the sacred ruby that was formed from the blood shed at the Cruxifiction. There would be incredible power unleashed from the devil's son holding the blood of God's Son, but Celeste's love gets in the way of Marcus' plans in Dee Davis' action packed tale.

*** Though all the stories are good, Julie Kenner's stands out as the most frightening and with the best moral to the story. Ms. O'Reilly has the most charming of the heroes, and Ms. Davis is the fastest paced. Love certainly has a more powerful punch than even the deepest evil, in fiction and life. ***

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - three superb paranormal romances
Lucifer needs some R&R from his eternal job of taking souls. However, he cannot leave the stewardship of Hell without adult supervision so he decides one of this offspring will prove capable of replacing him, but which one? He tests his three sons.

"Jack" by Kathleen O'Reilly. The oldest son Las Vegas casino owner Jack Veassago must gain possession of the Book of Souls. To do this he tries to seduce the tome from owner Gabriella D'Angelo.

"Nick" by Julie Kenner. When Jack fails Lucifer visits his middle child artist Nicholas Velnias who he assigns stealing the soul of Delilah Burnett, a preacher's daughter. Nick realizes she is the one he has searched for his entire life.

"Marcus" by Dee Davis. Lucifer is disappointed in his two oldest boys and prays (not to that guy) that his youngest son proves to be a chip off the old block. Marcus Diablo must obtain the Devil's Delight However his rival Celeste wants to steal the same item for her father.

These three superb paranormal romances affirm that even Lucifer dangling a hellish inheritance cannot overcome the strength of love.
