LONESOME DOVE is my favorite movie yet to date. When I saw RETURN I immediately realized it wasn't an epic story like the original. But I enjoyed it as a sequel to one of the greatest American stories ever written.

I thought that after Lonesome Dove, no movie would get my attention especially if the original actors weren't in the sequel. After the very first 5 minutes into watching Return To Lonesome Dove, I was riveted into the story, the characters, and the constant moving of the film. I rate this move 5 stars. All the actors did a wonderful job of telling another story from Larry McMurtry's moving saga of western days of the Texas Rangers.

This is a great sequel to the original Lonesome Dove. Includes some of the original actors, introduces new characters, and replacement actors did a great job keeping their characters real. Loved it.

ithought this movie was put together very well and when i watched it on vhs so when it became available on DVD i re purchased it we have watched the lonsome dove series numerous times as a family and will continue to do so
