Amazon.com:
While director Norman Jewison's Moonstruck is a romantic cornerstone, this 1994 film is often overlooked. It's a sweet valentine about a young woman, aptly named Faith (Marisa Tomei, never cuter), who chases an unknown man to Europe because the name 'Damon Bradley' was once spelled on an Ouija board as her true love. With her sister-in-law (Bonnie Hunt, whose own marriage seems to be falling apart), she travels the streets of Rome looking for Damon Bradley.

And lo and behold, she literally runs into a man claiming to be Damon. Is this meant to be? Faith certainly thinks so. Robert Downey Jr. (also never cuter) plays Damon in a role that showcases his charms. He shows his quick wit in handing Faith's advances and his absolute devotion to her when the winds change. Despite the cuteness factor, this is a movie to fall in love with. Jewison and Sven Nykvist (Ingmar Bergman's cameraman) present a sun-kissed Italy so beautiful, you might be tempted to hop a plane immediately after viewing the movie. --Doug Thomas

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Silly but fun
I watched it three times the very first week, and am ready to watch it a fourth time. Relaxing escape fare.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - The best possibilites went unrealized
This film has a lot of things going for it. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. look great and have decent chemisty. The scenes in Italy are really great, especially near the end and the acting isn't too bad. However, it seems like the premise has so many possibilities that go unrealized. In the end, the movie sort of quickly wraps things up in a way that should have been building all along. It sort of detracts from the storyline that the Peter character continuously engages in lies and deception, even when there seems to be a little magic building. In the end you think that he's the perfect guy except that he's so sleezy. It would have been nice to see the movie build on some of the things the main characters have in common rather than constantly regressing back to the deception mode. This is a cute, watchable romantic comedy, but it could have been an all-time great one with a few adjustments to the storyline.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - romantically delightful
I loved it immediately. If you've been to Venice, Rome and Amalfi; for the scenery alone this is the movie for you. And the story and the romance and the acting- what else could you want all in one movie. You'll relive Italy in your home again and again. When i need my Italian fix this is the flick for you.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Romance at its best...
The film, "Only you" is delightful. Marisa Tomei plays Faith, a highly romantic girl that believes in destiny. As a young girl she played games that told her the name of the person she would fall in love with and marry, later confirmed by a fortune teller, and she sets out to make it come true.

The filming takes place in the USA and Italy, and if you have ever visited Venice and Rome, you will love to revisit these spectacular places. As her wonderful sister-in-law, Bonnie Hunt delivers a rather wonderful performance as the married woman who because she believes her husband is having an affair, travels to Europe to redefine her purpose.

Robert Downey Jr. is magnificently romantic. If you are not careful, after watching this movie you may simply purchase a ticket and go to Italy in search for romance. Don't miss it!

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Delightful!
I have always loved this movie, with its gorgeous, sweeping views of Italy and Robert Downey Jr....it's just romance at it's best.
