Amazon.com:
He may be 'only Ringo,' but he's still a former Beatle and that gives Ringo Starr the right to do pretty much whatever he wants, which in this case means traveling the world with some of his favorite musicians, playing their hits and his. Introduced (in voiceover) by Paul McCartney, this 90-minute program includes 22 songs (plus one DVD bonus track) drawn from five All-Starr Band tours from 1989-2000. A splendid time was clearly had by all, from members of the Eagles, the Band, and Bruce Springsteen's group to Todd Rundgren, the Rascals' Felix Cavaliere, Procol Harum's Gary Brooker, Dr. John, Randy Bachman, and many more. Not a lot of surprises (what, you thought Ringo wouldn't sing 'Yellow Submarine' and 'With a Little Help from My Friends'?), but there are some unexpectedly compelling moments, like a fiery version of 'Sunshine of Your Love' featuring Peter Frampton and Cream's Jack Bruce. --Sam Graham

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - GREAT LIVE PERFOMANCES FROM ROCK GREATS
This concert DVD is a compilation of other Ringo and His All-Star band tour DVD's. This is the one to own, if you are a child of the 60s and enjoy classic rock. You get to see great live performances from Levon Helm, Dr. John, John Entwistle, Joe Walsh, Ringo and his son Zack. But, by far are the performances by Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals and the rock treasure Gary Brooker of Procol Harum. Not to mention Mark Farner of Grand Funk. You won't even be let down by Ringo's road band either. All in all great fun. This one belongs in everyone's personal rock archives.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - A Rock Music Fan's Delight
This DVD is sensational. Every performer on here is a rock legend. I own all the VHS tapes from these individual tours, and I'm very glad to own this "best of" release, which captures all tours between 1989 and 1997 on film, including the 1995 tour which was not released individually on VHS like the other three, and thus hasn't been seen on video until now. Highlights for me include a rocking "Iko Iko" by Dr. John, an excellent rendition of Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way," and Jack Bruce singing "Sunshine of Your Love." Also the big man himself (Ringo) gives many splendid renditions of classic Beatles songs as well as some of his own hits.

This DVD is a marvelous compilation in every way. I also highly recommend the companion 3-CD set, as it showcases even more fine work from these very talented performers. (Also the CDs include music from the 2000 All-Starr tour, which was completely left off this DVD.)

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome DVD
Ringo has released yet another awesome DVD. I recommend this DVD for everyone that loves Ringo and His All Starr Bands.

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Missing Someone........................The Forgotten Farner
This would have been a great DVD compilation of Hall of Fame rock n' roll talent except it was missing one star that nearly stole the show night after night while they toured thru 1995 and early 96......Grand Funk's Mark Farner was for some reason not included in any of the showcases even though he was a main cog in Ringo's 3rd Allstar installment...He's in the background on some of the tunes of others, but it's still a huge slight to a great fore-runner of the hard rock/heavy metal genre.

It was his face on this tour that helped launch the Mark, Don & Mel reunion of Grand Funk Railroad in 96-98....But for some silly reason, not important enough to make the cut with this DVD production.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - So Far, Soooo Good..
A real treat, I just expected this to be so, so, but what a find. Jack Bruce and Peter Frampton are dynamite during their Sunshine session. Also rediscovered Gary Brooker of Procol Harum, how cool is he, VERY!
Its so nice to see musicians appearing to truly enjoy what they are doing,
having a great time and connecting with the audience.

Seeing this DVD pushed me out to see Ringo and his all star band last year when they came by, and that was one of the most magical, take you back concerts I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

downside, did not enjoy Dr John, guess he is an acquired taste,
and thought they could have let Peter Frampton do something more than Norwegian Wood, he could have Shown us the Way.
