Brief Book Summary:
This is a 'sucess manual' that gives readers a step by step plan for taking control of their lives and unleashing their incredible potential. The book consists of 12 Lessons: Your Attitude is Your Window to the World; You're A Human Magnet; Picture Your Way to Success; Make a Commitment and You'll Move Mountains; Turn Your Problems into Opportunities; Your Words Blaze A Trail; How Are You?; Stop Complaining; Associate with Positive People; Confront Your Fears and Grow; Get Out There and Fail; Networking That Gets Results.
The book shows how author Jeff Keller used these principles to make a career transition from lawyer to motivational speaker -- and shows readers how they, too, can make positive changes in every area of their lives.

As a student of many (large #) of personal development books ("he who 'needs', reads"), I was skeptical that this book could offer more. And while I don't think there was much new in this book that I hadn't read in much deeper tomes, I think Keller did a terrific job in synthesizing the key concepts in a thin 130-page book that is an easy and quick read. I equate it to a condensed version of a number of the best personal development books that I have read.
Author makes excellent use of "famous person" quotations to support his points ("No Pressure, No Diamonds"-Mary Case; "The things that hurt, instruct" - Benjamin Franklin). He uses good anecdotes and personal reflections to keep the book flowing and has a large number of practical and useful recommendations. Here are the section and chapter titles:
Part I: Succession Begins in the Mind
Lesson 1: Your Attitude is Your Window to the World
Lesson 2: You are a Human Magnet
Lesson 3: Picture Your Way to Success!
Lesson 4: Make a Commitment and You'll Move Mountains
Lesson 5: Turn Your Problems into Opportunities
Part 2: Watch Your Words
Lesson 6: Your Words Blaze a Trail
Lesson 7: How are You?
Lesson 8: Stop Complaining
Part 3: Heaven Helps Those Who Act
Lesson 9: Associate with Positive People
Lesson 10: Confront Your Fears and Grow
Lesson 11: Get Out There and Fail
Lesson 12: Networking That Gets Results

I bought this book to help myself out of what I thought was a bad attitude at work. This helped me focus and change what needed to be changed. I think this book is well worth the money.

Great book and a short easy read packed with information and things that are easy to put into practice but that one might not have thought about before. Both my 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter (almost done) have read it too. Although the reviews from them were not great, I already see where it has made a difference and we can talk about how to put it into action for the better since we have the same foundation to work off of. I can't think of a single person I know who would not gain some positive benefit from spending the small amount of time reading it. Happy improving of yourself!!

Your attitude is basically a window to the world. You attract into your life your deepest thoughts and desires. Thoughts become things. Make commitments to take action, persevere and you will reach new heights. In every adversity there's opportunity, make sure you watch for the opportunity and grab the momentum. Watch your language, you are what you speak of most of the time, negative or positive. How are your attitude to the world? Change your attitude and you change your life. Stop complaining and start counting your blessings. Associate with positive people, pay any price to be in their circle. Fear is a greenlight to opportunity, confront it and you will grow mentally and financially. Get out there and fail, it's good for you. Just make sure you persevere and learn through your failures. Get out there and help as much people as you can, that's the only key to successful networking. Your attitude is everything. Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it, positive or negative.
Overall a good read with all the basic principles. If you can shift your paradigms to the rules covered in the book, I would say that your path to sucess is half way done.
