A great fantasy title written by Todd Dezago, and incredible fantasy art by Mike Wieringo. This oversized volume with high quality paper really showcases the wonderful work of 'Ringo which truly suits this fantasy tale of a boy and his Tiger in a fairytale land. The extra content, provided like an encyclopedia at the end, concerning the land and people of Tellos really adds to the experience. The pages of Wieringo's sketches and prototype drawings are very appreciated.

One of the great, "fun" books to come out of the last fifteen years of grim and gritty mainstream American comics, "Tellos" is the story of a young man who finds himself tapped as the Messiah of a land where various races of mythical creatures coexist fairly peacefully, except for the interference of a dark lord whose shadowy army threatens the peace and the very existence of the whole place--unless Jarek and his trusty man-tiger/protector Koj can find a way to save the day.
