I just picked this book up last week and I was really impressed with what I found inside once I opened it up and started reading. What an amazing body of work! The author should be commended for the work done on this exemplary work on Aikido.
As every true martial artist knows, the true "secret" to learning any technique in any of the various martial arts, is to learn and understand the principles and concepts behind the techniques, and this book is literally full of the principles and concepts of Aikido. This book along with Dynamic Aikido (Bushido--The Way of the Warrior) and Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere: An Illustrated Introduction are perhaps the finest examples of quality Aikido books that you could possibly learn from.
Now having said that, I am sure there are others out there that I haven't, as of yet, been exposed to and therefore can't really make an educated opinion on. So until I do, I stand by these three books as the best books on the subject.

Book was interesting and informative. Book covered some items that I haven't seen addressed anywhere else. I would recommend this book especially for people new to Aikido.
