Great read. Fun and interesting. I look forward to the subsequent two.
Some more explicit sex scenes...I'd rate it no lower than age 18 or so, but then I'm a mom. Some interesting psychological undercurrents.

Two years ago I spiral-broke my leg and was wheel chaired bound for three months. I was bored and depressed and soon found myself consumed with the "Charmed" series on the television. I watched every episode and was anxious to read the books. I was saddened to realize that they were written for young adults. I got on Amazon and did some research. Thanks to the reviews, I found this three book series. I read Sun Witch yesterday and loved it. I can't wait to start Moon Witch. If you enjoy watching Charmed, then you will love this author's immense talent of taking her reader's and transporting them into a time of magic, lust, and the devotion of three sisters.

I thought the story was great. Fun to read and interesting characters. I read it in one day and could not put the book down, however my review would have been 5 stars if some answers or plots would have ended, such as Sophie meeting her father. I would have loved to read the meeting on that. And did Liane really hear a baby in Lever 13 and did nothing about it? If so this would make the character more evil than good. I did love the secondary characters' relationship, Liane and the emperor. It was very complicated and not your typical romance story. If you would call what they have romantic. Their story could have been a book on its own. Very good book.

Enticing with a purity that is refreshing, this is the story that pre-ludes another trilogy by the same author. In this story there are three sister witches who have live all thier life with a inherited curse spun by a scorned man generations before that whenever one of these witches love, their love dies before thirty or leaves them broken hearted. This book centers arount the youngest of the sisters and here sprie like personallity. a must read for true romantics that love and always wants happy endings. Even if they are heart throbingly stinging.
