With each hour that passed, their passion escalated, and the stakes were getting higher. Ruthless scientists were after Faith for information she didn't even know she possessed, putting her life in jeopardy. I've read 7 out of 12 of the Family Secrets/Extraordinary 5 series. All are well written and the stories mesh remarkably successfully, considering that each is by a different author. You definitely have to suspend disbelief about the overall plot of the series, but the relationships are well realized and you'll care about the characters. All the romances sizzle.
FEVER may be my favorite of the series. There is interesting drama, and Faith is remarkably believable as a shy genious (but attractive, or course) nerd engrossed in the puzzles of epidemiology. Jake and Marcus also have significant roles in this book, and new information is revealed about another sibling.
I'll be looking for other books by this author.

I haven't followed the series - I buy Linda Winstead Jones. This book was awesome! This author can always be counted on to create the best characters, the best storylines, and the steamiest love scenes combined to make her, in my opinion, the best author on the market. I hope she writes faster because when I'm out of her books, I'm having to settle for second rate reading while waiting for her subsequent one to come on the market. The storyline of this series is similar to the old movie Twins... far fetched. That's OK, though, because she brings it together and makes it work. Keep them coming, Linda!!
