I loved this book, even though it had the usual problems warriors manga has, story length, lack of story detail, etc. I liked it because I had always wondered what made the delightfully vicious little cat the way he was, and now we find out! Unfortunatly there cannot be another book about him because he is killed, but I hope there is a similar book to this. I liked the illistrations, she did a great job capturing the cat's emotions. I thought Tigerstar looked a little weird, and so did the humans, but I loved the way they put Thisleclaw, Bluefur and Tigerpaw in the begining! I'd often wondered what Thisleclaw had been like.
Altogether a great buy!

This is a great chronology of the life of Scourge, or, more accurately, his rise to power. It details how exactly he did it, as well as focusing upon his rough early life. The art is very good, and I enjoyed watching him become the cat that was feared by all. As with all Warriors manga books, it was a little short, but I believe that the art and enjoyable story line well make up for it.
