Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
Griffin fans have waited years for the return of his rousing stories of the OSS, and now, at last, aided and abetted by his son, William E. Butterworth IV, Griffin has brought back his iconoclastic heroes in a brand-new adventure.

The Battle of the Atlantic is at its peak. Packs of German U-boats are hunting down and sinking U.S. supply ships, and ships are being burned at their moorings in U.S. ports-is it accident or is it sabotage? Meanwhile, Allied forces are secretly preparing to invade very first Sicily and then Italy. As the war heats up, Wild Bill Donovan's agents, answerable only to the president, find themselves battling on two fronts at once-and fate is just about to deal them a surprise.

Brimming with action, character, and the deep understanding of the military heart and mind that have made Griffin's books so outstanding, The Saboteurs is irresistible storytelling from a master of the craft.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Griffin's work - always the page turner!
The Saboteurs is another less than 24-hour read, Griffin's books are like popcorn, you can't do just one. The Saboteurs may not be Griffin's best work, but I liked his twists and turns. There's a story tightly woven with bits of history and characters to cheer on.

I just re-read the Brotherhood of War series and I'm looking forward to re-reading the Corps series in a few months. As a retired military officer, well read in non-fiction of the eras that Griffin covers, I find little to quibble with in his descriptions of military, intelligence and historical action.

Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - Did it really end like I think it did?
I learned some things but man it was slow and disjointed. The audio book was especially cast wrong by the way they made Kennedy's voice.

Rated by buyers 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointment
He must have needed the money -- this was written with his left hand -- no suspense whatever

Rated by buyers 2 out of 5 stars - The Saboteurs
If I had known that the audiobook release used a different reader than the voice from all the previous books, I would not have purchased the audio book.
There is a legacy that was created with the voice used for all the previous books. It 'belongs' and the expectations are that this is continued.

It is a major disappoinment that a different reader was picked. Quite a let-down, I have to say.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Another great W.E.B. Griffin novel
As I expected, this was another "I can't put it down" novel by a superb author. Also as I expected, his charactors continued without interruption from previous books in the "Men at War" series (and for the first-time reader, there were "fill-ins" about each main charactor). Couldn't wait to receive it and now I can't wait for his subsequent novel in any one of his series. Griffin, in my opinion, is one of the great American fiction authors of the century.
