Product Description:
Zoe Clare is a medium who has no trouble communicating with the dead-or with real live fairies, for that matter! But she can't seem to get her feelings across to her landlord-slash-manager- Magnus Monroe, Fairyville, Arizona's most eligible bachelor. She's tired of his erotic antics with every woman in town but her. So when her high school flame returns to town, Zoe is more than a little vulnerable to his charms. How Alex broke herheart is a scandal no one in Fairyville has forgotten. But even if Zoe isn't ready to forget, she's willing to forgive. The rules they're about to break will bring out the jealousy in Magnus-and the astounding truth.

Fairyville presents it's self as a romance novel with erotic undertones. However what you get borders on the cusp of homoerotic smut. While I have no problem with homosexuality, I did not expect this book to be riddle with more homoerotic scenes than heterosexual ones. The product description for this book mentioned nothing of the relationship between Alex and Bryan, yet their story is as prominent (if not more so) than the supposed feature story. I must admit that I am not the biggest Emma Holly fan. The majority of the books I have read by this author were not to my liking, however, I figured I would give it one last shot. I wish I hadn't.

I forgot to write that I could not put this book down! WOW! I was blushing but then I could not read it fast enough!! I want more! Like they say you can't judge a book by it's cover I thought it was about a sleepy Texas town! erotic I mean I have read her other book called " catching midnight" and I loved that, thinking it was in the same vein, boy was I wrong and what a happy mistake!!

I had read some of Emma Holly's other books, and was very excited when this one released. Her other books were well written and fun as well as sexy. I'd read the very first chapter of Fairyville and thought it sounded great, so I ordered it. I enjoyed the plot of the book, but felt like it got lost in the sex. I actually found myself skipping pages in order to get story line instead of repetitive sex. I enjoy love stories, no matter who the "lovers" are and while I don't look for books with homosexual leads, if the books calls for it I appreciate an authors ability to write the story well. However, in this book, while the homosexual sex was well written and not any more offensive or explicit than the heterosexual sex, it was too much of both. I think I'll borrow a copy of her subsequent book before purchase in the hopes that this book wasn't a sample of her regular writing, and the story I'd read before was the anomaly.

This is the very first erotic romance novel I have read. I was surprised at the blantant details of the sex, but loved every minute of it. Being closely connected to the psychic world myself I found humour and much truth in the anedotes told by the author. I am told that in an erotic novel the sex need to drive the story on and and I felt in this case it most defintely did. I intend on exploring this field of literature ...erotic romance... more.

There is very little to recommend about this book . The plot and characters
are lost in a sea of meaningless sex. I am rather sad I spent money on it.
