I have been battling low blood sugar for years and if you want to keep you blood sugar stabilized protein is the way to go.
That being said, this is the closest I have gotten to easy. I have consumed a lot of protein powders/bars and I have thrown a lot out as they have been that bad. Blood sugar wise, this product supplemented with Gold Standard 100% Casein have made it so much easier to get through a day. I have a casein protein drink at night before I go to bed and then in the morning when I wake up. I take one of the IDS liquid proteins with me to work so I am set for the day. I would consider myself to be a very picky protein supplement selector. I am big on taste because I need to take it everyday and if it doesn't taste good, eventually I will dread it and then just stop taking it. Even if I don't mind the taste, I will still start to dread it and stop taking it for awhile. I have yet to do that with the IDS, its just that much easier to take.
1. You don't have to keep it refrigerated, just stick it in your bag/purse and go.
2. 42 grams of protein from a powder is a gagging amount for me. This drink gives me that and it goes down so easy.
3. In terms of taste, I would rather drink this than anything else I have tried and I have tried a lot. I like the consistency and flavor.
4. No blending, no shakers, no hand mixers, no melted bars, no mess.
