My daughter asked Jesus one day if He would write her a letter. She was very distraught because she wanted to hear from Him. A few months later I found this book and it fit perfectly for her. She practices what characteristics a true princess of the true King has and she learns that true beauty is in her heart and how she acts as a princess of Jesus Christ. She will even seek forgiveness when she messes up. The book is a great source of security for a little girl who needs comfort in knowing her King loves her adn that she is beautiful to Him and His opinion matters above anyone else's.

when my very girly girl daughter turned 5, I didn't want to have the typical Disney princess party. I had found this book at the MOPS (mothers of preschool) convention and it was perfect for my princess. I constructed a "God's princess" birthday party around the theme of this book. God is our King and we are his Princess. There is a letter on the 1st page 'from God' talking about a character trait He wants us to exhibit and how and why. Then on the page subsequent to it is a prayer for the 'little princess' to pray to God about wanting to learn about that particular character trait! I love it!

I have the His Princess book, which I highly recommend also for any women over the age of 13-14 up to 99 :) and plus.
Sheri Rose has an unbelievable way of writting through the eyes of god , with such encouragement. I can only strongly encourage everyone out there to get a copy of this book for your little princess in your life, to get yourself a copy of HIS princess, Sheri is currently working on a book for Man. Those books are incredible ! [...].

Sheri Rose Shepherd realizes that all little girls want to be princesses, and in God's eyes they all are. The letters from God to the princesses are filled with both love and guidance. He tells the princesses how much he loves them. He also instructs them on how to behave like princesses, like little Christians.
Prayer, family dynamics, teasing, rejection, modesty, and character are addressed in these letters along with many other subjects. In the letters, God describes himself as the Heavenly Daddy. This gives the abstract nature of God a more concrete definition.
After each letter, is a prayer for the princesses. Parish is a bit young to fully grasp the importance of the letters. However, it is a great way to introduce devotion time. This book is unique in the fact that it has meaning for princesses in elementary school through college. This book is a keeper--a book to keep and pass on to your princesses.
