This is not the type of book I normally read, but my mom loaned it to me and it sat on my nightstand for months before I cracked it open. Once I started reading it, I spent every free minute I had with this book until I finished. I won't spoil the plot for you, but suffice it to say that this was an eye-opening, at times gut-wrenching book that has had a lasting effect on my life. When you finish it, you will know exactly what I mean, and I don't think anyone who has read this book will look at life quite the same way again. Enjoy!

I have all of John Bevere's books and they have transformed my way of thinking and my life paradigms have radically shifted. I recommend this audio book as it really hit home and caused me to think about eternity and how I live my life here; and what it could be like to stand before God at the white throne of judgment. To listen to a "fictional" dialogue between those who profess his name and still live their life here anyway they want without considering the potential consequences to those choices, really impacted me and they way I have been living my life. I highly recommend this audio book and also the Affabel audio book that is written like a parable. The impact is tremendous.

I am already a huge fan of John Bevere, but he truly out did himself this time. He always publishes something that impacts my life in a positive way, but this book not only excited me about being a Christian, it reminded me of why I choose to be a Child of God and a member of a Great Body of Believers.
I'm not really familiar with Mark Andrew Olsen, but I believe he will soon be high on my list of Christian Authors.
This story brought me to new heights of excitement as well as dispere for the unbeliever. I found myself so engaged, it took me hours to come down. God's anointing is surely on these two author's lives.

First off, the audio and the voice talents are amazing. You feel like you are an observer (which is great for an audio book). It was very professional and very entertaining. Well done!
Second off, the story is really needed in our generation, for we are a people who take grace for granted on occasion and we really need to be living our lives as if we will face God someday.
Some people have gotten hung up on the once saved always saved issue and I understand that, but it is easy to miss the message of this story if you let the hang up get you. The author playing God in this story may or may not be how God judges people in real life, but we must understand that no matter our view on once saved always saved, that we all must face God someday and give an account of what we did with our lives. I believe the audio series brings this out beautifully and it has made me think.
Being a Christian is a daily thing, not a one-time prayer at the alter thing. I hope we all live our lives each day knowing that God will see it all. Thank you for this series!

Since John Bevere is such a successful author, and his books get such high reviews here on Amazon, I looked forward to getting this book and starting it. By maybe the fourth chapter or so I realized I was making myself stick with it. The characters are unlikeable, the situations border on the unbelievable, and frankly I find myself not even caring what happens to the characters or how the book ends. In fact, I doubt I'll find out how the book ends - it's a rare thing for me to not finish a book, but one thing I've learned as I've become older and wiser is to NOT waste time finishing books I don't like!! And I do NOT like this book! Maybe his non-fiction books are better, his fiction (at least in this book) is elementary and almost immature in nature.
