This is a beauifully illustrated edition of my favorite book. I pruchased it for a Baby Shower gift and was thrilled at the "heirloom quality" of the book. The cover was perfect and the little gold stocking bookmark was a wonderful addition. I recommend it highly.

Recommend for Christmas giving, a must for coffee table deco or an heirloom collectable. Done exceptionally well. Home Christmas must have.

A wonderful book to read to my Grandchildren
Sort of like the one that my father read to me as a child.
Also the price is right.

This book was purchased for a nine year old grand daughter; once we read it, the decision was made to give it to all the grand children, aged 9, 6, & 4. It is our fervent desire that to this family, this book will, indeed, attain the status of 'heirloom'.
Although the years have created a somewhat fuzzy memory, this edition reminded me a great deal of the very first time I'd ever read this story. it's my opinion that anyone who loves books will not be disapointed with this purchase. I am able to recommend it with no hesitation.
