I read one book and on the same day went and purchased all of them. I just love the twins, and Adam...hello. Karen is for sure a contender in the book world. I read so much, I get bored so easily with some of the authors, most of the time the charactors come across as bad actors to me. But not these. I love, love, love this series. I guarantee you Scotland has NEVER look so good =)

With much trepidation I decided to buy another audiobook. I have crashed and burned on many of my favorites in the past to be left wanting more in the reading. So I bit the bullet and bought my favorite book of all time "The Dark Highlander" by Karen Marie Moning in audiobook form. Having read this book probably a dozen times I was hoping for at least a simi-decent read. Leaving work to go my favorite bookstore, I picked up this audiobook. With a sigh I get in the car for the commute home and pop in the very first disc. I was hooked from the start. With his rich baritone voice he brought my favorites characters to life. Using accents, especially the wonderful Scottish brogue, the reader drew me in. I didn't realize how hooked I was until I realized I drove to my house not really remembering the drive there. It normally takes me about 40 minutes on any given day to go home. This scared me. So a word of warning...listen to the audiobook cd's at home for this book. Sit back with a cool glass of wine and enjoy. I know I did.

This was the very first time I've ever read Karen Marie Moning as well as this type of book. I generally read mystery and murder books. All I can say about The Dark Highlander is WOW!!!! I haven't had the chance to pick up any of her other books, but I certainly plan on it soon. I was sucked in like I have never been sucked in with a book before. All of my friends made fun of me but I enjoyed the book immensely.
