Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
When an unexpected inheritance elevates her family to the ranks of the aristocracy, Amelia Hathaway discovers that tending to her younger sisters and wayward brother was easy compared to navigating the intricacies of the ton. Even more challenging: the attraction she feels for the tall, dark, and dangerously handsome Cam Rohan.

Wealthy beyond most men’s dreams, Cam has tired of society’s petty restrictions and longs to return to his “uncivilized” Gypsy roots. When the delectable Amelia appeals to him for help, he intends to offer only friendship—but intentions are no match for the desire that blindsides them both. But can a man who spurns tradition be tempted into that most time-honored arrangement: marriage? Life in London society is about to get a whole lot hotter….

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great book
This was a very good book. It was great to find out how Cam ended up.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Waiting for her subsequent novel!
As a true Lisa Kleypas die hard, I couldn't wait to read this one..I am into her historical romances...So I began to read..about five chapters in I put the book down and screamed " Lisa, where are you"? It was like she had a ghost writter....I know this sounds crazy but I have read all her books and for some reason I wasn't picking up Lisa.. I love you Lisa..please come back to me... while you wait, if you missed reading TIN0'S masterpiece--FATES, Fates go and read it. I discovered it while browsing for my subsequent read at a bookstore.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great Read!
I'm not sure where all the negativity came from but I personally thought the book was awesome. Another well written much anticipated book by one of my favorite authors...well done M. Kleypas, well done :0)

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Great page-turner
I just love all of Lisa Kleypas books. She just has a way of bringing the characters to life with fiery passion and great vivid scenes. The book has a very unique yet romantic story and all the strugles that Amelia Hathaway goes through, you can't help but connect with her. Also, if you are a fan of Kleypas "Walflower" series, then you'll like this because many of the characters come back (as always). The ending to this book can seem unfinished, which is what happened to me. Many of the problems didn't seem solved, but because there is a second book coming to the Hathaway series, I guess it made sense. I definetly recommend this book, even more if you are a Kleypas fan like me =D.

Rated by buyers 2 out of 5 stars - Ok as a romance novel. I was not wowed, surprised or delighted.
I prefer a little more interesting, witty or humorous conversation (or suspense). I enjoyed Rom, the one-half gypsy character, but I was uneasy with his wanting to throw away his money. He was lucky at earning it and kept trying to throw it away or give it away. The author said something about he couldn't feel free if he had any possessions. There were also some questions at the end that were not answered. The author raised a question about Cam and Merripan having identical tatoos, but the mystery was not answered. I was left hanging regarding Merrpan and Win. I assume he recovered from his illness and expressed his love for Win, but the author did not finish this part of the story. I was annoyed with the suicidal brother Leo. His fiance died of illness and since then he would go away for long periods of time, gambling, drinking, getting high on the drugs of the day. Each time he did this, Amelia would worry about him and go find him to bring him home (or she asked others to help her find him). At the end of the book, Cam states that he believes Leo will get better in the future. I didn't enjoy the Leo part of the story. Parts of the story were ok, but I would not recommend buying this book.
