This Latin Workbook 2 adds just more area to practice skills acquired from the base of book Latin for Americans 2. There is also a very useful Teachers Resource Guide for all the volumes 1,2,3. And I find the whole set of this Latin course just fantastic. It doesn't mean that anybody without reaching out for other resources will master this language from the 3 volumes mentioned. It is, however, an excellently written Latin course. I highly recommend this set to only dedicated and motivated student of Latin, who will endure many months of studying and practicing. The resource is great but Latin in itself remains a very broad and rich knowledge.
It is too bad, that the Teachers Resource Guides are out of print and so hard to obtain. They have the answers to tests and most of the proper translations and I find them extremely useful for self studying persons. So, if you want to learn Latin and able to work on it for at least 2-3 years steadily, get these books in the whole set of 3 volumes. Otherwise, leave them for the others.
