This book was a light, easy read. While it was enjoyable, it wasn't necessarily memorable. The characters were likable enough but there was no emotional story or circumstances with deep anguish or super hot romance. It was just quick and easy and a little bit of fun...lol.

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon/Kinley Macgregor. I have been searching for this book for a while and I am pleased to say that it has not dissappointed me. No matter what book she writes, they are consistently funny, witty, and deep. They make you see the main characters for the people they are and not the deeds they have done. The play between the two main characters was highly entertaining.

Loreli Dupree is a young English lady engaged to Lieutenant Justin Wallingford. Justin plans to trap infamous pirate Black Jack Rhys and Loreli intends to help him. She poses as a barmaid in a tavern Black Jack is known to frequent. Jack met the beautiful Loreli at a ball the previous night so he recognizes her even in her disguise. Jack despises Justin. Justin's father is responsible for the death of someone very close to Jack, so after besting Justin in a fight Jack kidnaps Loreli. Once aboard his ship, Jack sets out to seduce Loreli but Loreli has plans of her own. She wagers that she will claim Jack's heart before he claims her body.
Love and lust collide and soon Loreli and Jack are falling for each other, but Justin is following them and he wants Lorei back. Loreli will have to choose between the man she loves and the man she's committed to. Jack will do what's best for Loreli, even if it means leaving her.
Master of Seduction is a story rich in characterization and plot. It's full of emotion, searing passion and romance. The ending is especially poetic. Jack is a man tortured by his painful past and Loreli is an adventurous young woman who brings the light back into Jack's life. Master of Seduction is wonderful and passionate story.

It is just a day later after reading the book "Master of Seduction" and I can't even remember a lot of the plot anymore. It has no story at all! No tension, no romance, no action...just endless descriptions and blabber! Avoid at all costs!

Reading in bed on a winters night is the only way to go reading this book.
Romance at its ultimate.
